police in the Ugandan capitol, Kampala, are brutally beaten and raping men, women and girls under the watchful eyes of senior officers of the police force. A female victim who was under pregnancy in her 6 months had miscarriage because of police beating and kicking. Another protester, a high school teacher, was badly beaten and his half-dead body was thrown into a water way. These protests are results of long awaited complaints from residents of the city and villages to which governments have continuously refused to addressed. According to the protesters, "Our actions are intended to bring to book government's criminal actions against citizens of Uganda."
