Across Africa, Africans march in protest to demand action against climate change.

Updated: Oct 1, 2021

ProtestBlog.org: The coastal areas of Africa, in particular, have a great deal to loose as a result of climate change, but also the interior, where people rely on agriculture to survive. Africa is increasingly on board with the global struggle as suggested in the videos below. This is especially important given Africa's historical lack of economic development vis-a-vis the rest of the world and the backward and dictatorial character of many if not most African governments that continues to exert influence over much of the continent. We applaud those brave Africans who are determine to join the front lines of protest for action against climate change, as well as more democracy and greater inclusiveness. Together, we will work for the development of an intelligent public policy geared towards preserving and exploiting resources in ways that respect the planet and serve to protect public health, for our generation and those that we hope will come in the future.
