France Protests like it is 1968. Pensions, Livelihoods, Mother Earth, the New French Revolution

ProtestBlog.org: In France, climate change protest closed out 2019 as part of the largest protests in France in a quarter of a century, addressing a variety of concerns. Attempts by the government at pension reform were the initial spark, but the reaction is widespread, organized, and has resulted n violence. Even firefighters have joint the fray, joining the protesters. Most of all, like their counterparts across the English channel, French protesters seem determined to stand and the forefront of the call for climate action.
