ProtestBlog.org: May 27, 2020: George Floyd, another black man murdered by white police in the street, on camera, not just beaten but summarily executed, strangled to death by a knee to the neck in public while onlookers begged for his life at the same time that they filmed his death. Soon, the riots spread to other locations. Dozens were arrested in NYC’s Union Square, for example, riots also broke out in LA. From Rodney King to Floyd George, the story is a similar one. Protests in Colorado and Ohio turned especially chaotic. In Minnesota, the State Capitol is reported to have been evacuated as a result of the unrest.
