Bodies Lying in the Street for Days, Ecuador, the First Wave of COVID-19, Spring, 2020

Updated: Nov 19, 2021

ProtestBlog.org: Ecuador at the time of this writing is the South American country hardest hit by early April by the Coronavirus, especially the second city Guayagill where it has been reported that thousands of bodies have been collected by the authorities over the course of the last few days.

The bitterness in the Ecuadoran soul, that the highly vaunted Socialism and Social Justice implemented by the highly popular and triumphant Rafael Correa (now wanted by Ecuadoran justice) shows itself incapable of even picking up the bodies of those citizens who die in a pandemic. Ecuador is another model of Socialist medicine at work, centralized, Third-World, bureaucratic medicine at its worst, misery surpassed, perhaps, only by its ex-ally Venezuela.
